What this covers
This policy covers cookies and similar storage on this website, readstow.com. It explains what we use, why, and how to change your mind.
The Readstow iPhone app does not use cookies for tracking and contains no analytics. It keeps your sign-in and your library on your phone so it works offline. The privacy policy covers the app.
Nothing optional by default
When you first visit, nothing optional runs. The banner offers Accept all, Reject all and Customise. Until you accept, no analytics loads. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the site works the same either way.

We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels or any third-party tracking, and we do not share cookie data with advertisers.
Why essential storage needs no consent
Essential storage is strictly necessary for something you asked for: remembering your cookie choice, or keeping the site secure. The law does not require consent for it, and turning it off would make the banner reappear on every page.
Changing your choice
Use Manage cookies at the foot of any page, or the button above, to change your choice at any time. If you withdraw consent for analytics, the page reloads without it. You can also clear site data or block storage in your browser settings. If you do, the banner will ask again on your next visit.
Changes
If we add a new kind of cookie or storage, we will update this page and ask for your choice again where consent is needed.
